  3. Rodney Baker says:

The intercalated month became necessary after the earth’s orbit was altered in or around 701BCE. Prior to the catastrophic events that altered the orbits of Earth and Mars, there may well have been 364 days in the year (although there is more evidence from sources more ancient than the pseudoepigraphical books of Enoch of there being 360 days in the year), but after that date the solar and lunar calendars were thrown out of sync and intercalation became necessary to keep the calendar in sync with the seasons. This is just one of the many symptoms of a creation that is “groaning” and awaiting its redemption and re-creation at the end of the Messianic age, when all these things will be restored to their original, created order.

How is every body. This is probably not the answer but Enoch says in chapter 73:13 the moon brings on all the years exactly that their stations may come neither too forwards nor too backwards a single day,but that the years may be changed with correct precision in 364 days.In 3 years the days are 1092 in 5 years 1820 and in 8 years 2913.Verse 14 to the moon alone belong in 3 years 1262 days in 5 years there are 1770 and the days of the moon in 8 years are 1832 days.Verse 15 For its days in 8 years are less than those of the sun by 80 days, which 80 days are its diminution in 8years.Verse 16 the year then becomes truly complete according to the station of the moons, and the station of the sun which rise and set in them in 30 days. You mentioned Enoch maybe this helps. Its hard for me to grasp. Thanks for listening
