The Bible: A Treasure Trove Weaponized
Personally, I see the Bible as a treasure trove of wisdom. Unfortunately, I believe the Bible has been weaponized by the Enemy of our soul to destroy mankind. My Spiritual Expedition
I’m in favor of searching out a matter within the Bible. That’s how I got to where I am today. However, I believe it is necessary to first have a foundation that is based on what is physically true/real & self-evident before going on any spiritual expeditions. First Things First: Get a Grip & Hold Fast
I believe we, as Bible students, Bible readers, and so-called Bible believers needs to read our Bibles, starting at the beginning of the book. We need to gain a firm grip on what is established there and then hold fast to it when reading all that comes after it, in order to make proper sense of it all. One would think this approach would make common sense and need not be said, but evidently it needs be said, because it doesn’t typically happen that way. Heavenly Thrones
After publishing my post, The LORD Said to My Lord, I began looking into the Hebrew word, most often translated as throne, kisse (H3678). It comes from the verb root kasa (H3680) which means to cover, according to Brown-Driver-Briggs. And the noun kisse (H3678) means seat of honour, throne, and it appears 135 times in the Old Testament. Of these mentions, we see priests, kings (& the mother of a king: Bathsheba), and YHVH (& even Haman in the book of Esther and a foolish woman in the book of Proverbs) seated on them. Many refer to the following passage to support the notion that Jesus is not the physical son of David, but rather, he is God, the Son. The End of An Age
When I hear things like the Day of the LORD is quickly approaching & Jesus/Yeshua is coming back, I have to ask, what exactly are people expecting to see in the physical realm with these notions? When the New Testament speaks of the Day of the LORD, I believe it is referring to the fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. (with the destruction of the temple/power structure & accompanying power/control figures, which Yeshua prophesied would come to pass), and that has obviously passed. The Genealogies of Jesus
Two lineages demonstrate harmoniously how Jesus could be considered the Messiah, also known as the Son of God -- through physical seed, which came through the line of Solomon and through the word/saying (figurative/spiritual seed) of God which came through the line of Nathan. Both lineages link Jesus to David, of Abraham, of God through Joseph, Jesus' father.

Do You Know Who You Are?
For many years I struggled with understanding who I was in the grand scheme of things. I struggled with understanding all that the Bible said concerning the relationship between God and Man — not so much who God is, but more so who Man is in relationship to God.
